• Payments may be requested of Client(Trust) or Office Bank Account.
• If the Client bank account is selected then a check is made to ensure Client/Matter funds are available.
• Depending on amount requested and bank account selected, the  payment authorisation is routed to the relevant parties, for example, if a payment on excess of £100,000.00 is to made from the Client bank account - then authorisation is required from the Matter Partner and Client Partner or Department Head.
• If the payment is not authorised the requester gets a notification by e-mail with reason why it was rejected.
• Workflow also routes through to the Finance Department for checking before being processed.
• Time limits can be set when requesting authorisation so if Partner not available it will forwarded on to a designated person.
• All authorisations levels and escalation times etc are parameter driven making the system totally flexible.

Kestrel has created a working prototype using the ADERANT database but integration to other PMS/ ERP systems is easily achieved.
